------------
Although it is already April, I find myself still cradling the quiet echoes of March.
In March, I walked into the second gathering of my family.
The first reunion has a veil of unnameable regret hung in the air. The second reunion has sharpen the contours of that regrets, which resonating deeply within my heart.
The distance between people shifts with the tides of time, alerting without a sound. The departure of the old, the arrival of the new, the migration of settings, and the vastness of space - all are silent sculptors reshaping who we are to one another.
Emotionally, the love and the care are still in the air.
Yet, the rational mind sees the ravines that lies between us.
Perhaps, "distance" itself is a kind of space that preserve beauty. As the time continues to turn, loosening the grip may be more graceful than holding on. By viewing old bonds through a new lens of emotion, may a different and more liberated connection to bloom among family.
We are all practicing:
Practicing to accept the changes beyond our control
Practicing to release what no longs belongs,
Practicing how to surrender to the current,
Then to drift with the wind of the present.
