Like Cherry Blossoms, Every Encounter is A Once-In-a-Lifetime Moment

This spring I stepped into a gathering of content creators, whom were all strangers until that moment.

It was a curious and empowering space. People from different background, who had never met, crossed paths in a corner of the city.

We moved from tentative meeting to baring our individual struggles and joys. Instead of anticipated awkwardness, the air hummed with a quiet current of sincerity and a gentle momentum of moving forward.

Some stood still in uncertainty while others moved forward still searching;
Some had just begun while others had already travelled a long way.

Listening to one another speak of their light and dusts along their creative journey, the reasons "why we create" felt like tiny, warm sparks igniting on a quiet blank canvas.

As the gathering came to an end, we made no promises for a next time, nor did we try to force a connection. It was like many fleeting moments of life - they appear, linger, and then quietly drift apart.

The cherry blossoms were in full bloom.

As I watched the petals drifts, the phrase "Ichigo Ichie" surfaced in my mind. Perhaps we hold our breathing at the beauty of cherry blossoms because we know their time is fleeting. Each spring, the sea of flower may look the same, yet the trajectory of every falling petals and every breeze through the branches are unique moments in the present time only. This gathering felt the same. May we never cross our path again, but in those hours, our shared glances and sincere conversation were our entire reality.

Creation itself is also a form of Ichigo Ichie.

Today's inspiration, tomorrow's rhythm, and this very encounter with the reader like you, are miracle that cannot be replicate. Because the season is brief, I wish to leave something behind while I still can.

This Spring, I turn this feeling into words.

Regardless of what comes next, at least in this moment, we are here together and meeting wholeheartedly.
